During the last weekend in April, the FEVA U16 team traveled to Centralia to compete among the top 16 teams in the PSR Regional Tournament. Due to stellar performances in Power League all season, the team was so excited to meet their goal of earning a spot in the Emerald (top) Division!
The girls showed up to battle and fought for every point. Despite a difficult first day, the team persevered and found redemption. On the second day, FEVA beat a rival that they had lost to on Day 1, emphasizing this team’s grit and determination, and earning a final ranking of 13th in the PSR Region!
The FEVA U16 team was led by its two setters, #11 Sydney and #12 Macy, who ran all over the court and put up some amazing sets for our hitters. #1 Natalie and #11 Sydney also led the team with digs over the weekend with 37 and 30, respectively. Middle blocker #37 Anna added to our defense at the net with 4 blocks. Pin hitters #9 Cassidy and #4 Ava were our powerhouse attackers for the weekend with 20 and 14 kills, respectively. We are so proud of this team’s performance at Regionals! GO FEVA!
