Coach Melissa and Coach Kenny want to take a moment to celebrate an incredible season and recognize the hard work, perseverance, and heart that our U13 athletes have poured into their game this year. From the very first tournament, they set the tone—taking first place in the Silver bracket at Reindeer Roundup. They carried that momentum forward with commanding first-place finishes in pool play at their seeding tournament and their first PSR tournament, though not without some fierce battles.
Their grit never wavered. The FEVA U13 team fought through tough competition, securing first place in the Silver Bracket at the MLK tournament, battling through three more PSR tournaments against the best teams in the region, taking first place in the Bronze Division in Spokane and ultimately finishing 7th overall in the U13 division out of 50 teams prior to Regionals! Such an incredible list of accomplishments!

But their success wasn’t just measured in wins. These girls demonstrated resilience, determination, and the kind of growth that goes far beyond the game. Not only did these young women develop their skills on the court, but they also grew as individuals. During pre-practice discussions, we shared quick Coach Kenny Knowledge (CKK) quotes, and on other days, we dove into deeper conversations—encouraging the girls to set goals for themselves and as a team, reflecting on challenges, and embracing opportunities for personal growth. Watching them open up, support one another, and push past their own barriers was truly inspiring. We could not be more proud of the young women they are becoming and the dedication they continue to show—not only as athletes but as teammates, as friends, as people. FEVA U13s, coaching you this season has been an absolute joy!
