In the first weekend of May, FEVA’s U15 girls traveled to Centralia to compete in the Puget Sound Volleyball Regional Tournament. Having qualified for the Emerald (top) Division based on consistent success in Power League, FEVA came to compete for a bid to the USAV Junior National Tournament.

As the 10th seed going into the Regional tournament, the FEVA U15s knew it would be a tough battle to earn 1 of only 3 available bids. FEVA rose to the occasion on Day 1, finishing 2-1 in pool play and earning the right to play in the Gold bracket on Day 2 as one of the top 8 U15 teams.

FEVA lost their quarterfinal match against the eventual tournament winner, ending hopes for a bid, but the team finished the tournament strong with an excellent last match victory of 25-17, 25-16 to close out the day.

FEVA setters led their crew all weekend—#11 Sydney had a 98.1% serving average and hit 0.267, and #91 Taylor had 49 assists. #12 Eloise and #7 Delaney made a difference offensively, hitting 0.294 and 0.263 respectively, while #21 Alyssa led the defense with 50 digs.

This final win crowned the FEVA U15s as #5 in the Puget Sound Region!!! Congratulations, FEVA, on an incredible 2024-2025 season! (But wait, it’s not over yet. Look for us in the Open Division at the Emerald City Classic, May 24–26.)
