Tami Jurgensen
Setter Training Coach
Volleyball has been a part of Tami’s life since she was 8 years old. Coach Tami grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and played volleyball as a setter in middle school, high school and during club volleyball. Tami was recruited to play collegiate volleyball for California State University, Bakersfield, where her team won a NCAA Division II National title and Tami was a 2-time All American. Volleyball has taught Tami valuable skills in life, and she still plays both indoor volleyball and beach doubles today. Coach Tami is the U17 Co-Head Coach this club season and is excited to be continue working with the FEVA setter training program to pass on the essential skills and tactical setting knowledge she learned during her collegiate career and after. Outside of volleyball, Tami enjoys skiing, traveling and spending time with her family which includes her husband Mark, her daughter Sumner who is a freshman in high school and their dog Sammy.
